
Neil Mitchell is a celebrated Australian radio presenter who has been broadcasting on Melbourne AM talk-back station 3AW since 1987.
He is known for his tough interviewing style and his willingness to challenge politicians and other public figures.
Mitchell was born in Melbourne in 1951.
He studied journalism at Monash University and began his career as a reporter for The Age newspaper.

He later worked for the Nine Network and the Seven Network, before moving to radio in 1987.
Mitchell’s 3AW morning program is one of the most listened-to radio programs in Australia.
