The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the woman as 21-year-old Martha Perez-Silva.
Martha Perez-Silva Cause Of Death
Responding to a distress call at approximately 9:15 a.m., the Louisville Metro Police Department arrived at the 2100 block of Biljana Drive. The call pertained to an unconscious woman.
Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered Martha Perez-Silva beneath the dining room table, according to an arrest slip.
Residents in the vicinity reported hearing a disturbing and intense altercation emanating from Perez-Silva’s apartment the preceding night.
Felipe Jesus Santos-Florencia Apprehended by LMPD: Boyfriend Faces Charges in Clifton Heights Fatality
Law enforcement subsequently apprehended Felipe Jesus Santos-Florencia, who is believed to be the boyfriend of Perez-Silva. LMPD has disclosed that Santos-Florencia acknowledged being present in her apartment at the time of the incident.
The coroner’s official report has determined that the cause of Martha Perez-Silva’s unfortunate demise was attributed to a stabbing, classifying the manner of death as a homicide.
Felipe Jesus Santos-Florencia is now facing charges of murder-domestic violence in connection with the tragic event.
