Louisville Woman Found Dead in Clifton Heights: Boyfriend Charged with Murder
A woman was found dead in her apartment in the Clifton Heights neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday morning. The woman has been identified as 21-year-old Martha Perez-Silva.
Police responded to a call at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Sunday morning about a woman down. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Perez-Silva dead under a dining room table.
Neighbors reported hearing a loud and violent altercation coming from Perez-Silva’s apartment the night before.
Police took Perez-Silva’s boyfriend, Felipe Jesus Santos-Florencia, into custody. Santos-Florencia reportedly admitted to being the only person in the apartment at the time of Perez-Silva’s death.
Santos-Florencia has been charged with murder-domestic violence. He is being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections without bond.
The investigation into Perez-Silva’s death is ongoing.
