Sophie Raworth is a senior newsreader and presenter for the BBC. She has been with the BBC since 1992 and has presented a variety of programs, including BBC News at One, BBC News at Six, BBC News at Ten, and Watchdog.

Raworth was born in Surrey in 1968. She studied French and German at the University of Manchester and then went on to study broadcasting and journalism at City, University of London.

Winter is a company director of real estate. He proposed to Raworth in Amalfi, Italy while on holiday for her 35th birthday.

Raworth and Winter were old friends who had a relationship years before their reunion. During their first go at love, Winter ended the relationship – Raworth said it was the only time she was dumped, normally being the heartbreaker herself.

Raworth only had three steady relationships before marrying Winter.

The couple lives in London with their three children. Raworth told The Telegraph her perfect weekend would be going “to see a film” with Richard followed by eating at their favorite neighbor bistro, Aglio E Olio on London’s Fulham Road.
