Sarina Wiegman’s husband, Marten Glotzbach, is a low-key figure who has quietly supported his wife’s rise to the top of women’s football.

The German economics professor is a few months younger than Sarina and the couple have been married for many years. They have two daughters, but they have kept their private life under wraps.

Marten is a talented footballer himself and he played for a local team in the Netherlands. He also worked as a youth coach before becoming a lecturer in economics.

In recent years, Marten has taken on a more hands-on role in his wife’s career. He has worked as her assistant coach and he is now the main coordinator for women’s football events in the Netherlands.

Marten is a dedicated husband and father and he is a key part of Sarina’s success. He is a quiet achiever who is happy to stay in the background, but he is a valuable asset to the Lionesses.
