A woman is in custody and facing a charge of intentional murder after allegedly shooting and killing her ex-husband in Argo, Alabama on Friday.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic shooting in the 8800 block of Gadsden Highway around 10:35 a.m.
Witnesses told authorities that Grace Dunaway Yancey, 58, shot her 62-year-old ex-husband to death.
Yancey was taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where she is being held without bond.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
