Born on January 13, 1984, Brad Williams is a remarkable American stand-up comedian and actor renowned for his appearances in various films and TV shows. What sets him apart is that he was born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, which plays a central role in both his comedic performances and television roles.

He attended Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California. After graduating, he briefly attended the University of Southern California but decided to drop out to wholeheartedly pursue his passion for acting and comedy.

Williams’ comedy journey began when he attended a live comedy show by Carlos Mencia. During the show, Mencia made jokes about dwarves, and the audience was hesitant to laugh. Williams caught Mencia’s attention, and he invited Williams on stage.

Williams fearlessly cracked jokes, impressing Mencia. This encounter marked the start of his comedy career. Mencia asked Williams to explore stand-up comedy and become his opening act on tours, including the Mind of Mencia and Punisher Tour.

Williams’ talent extended to television, where he appeared on the show Mind of Mencia. His roles were diverse, including playing a dwarf leader of a basketball team, participating in Renaissance faire with Mencia, and humorously expressing his disdain for podiums. He even made memorable appearances on popular shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live! during festive occasions.

Stand-Up and Specials Williams’ stand-up career thrived, culminating in his first full-length comedy album, “Coming Up Short,” released in April 2011. He co-hosted the About Last Night podcast with Adam Ray starting from April 14, 2014.

In 2015, he unveiled his first one-hour comedy special, “Brad Williams: Fun Size,” followed by “Brad Williams: Daddy Issues” in 2016, both airing on Showtime. His humor also found a home on The Kevin and Bean Show, where he frequently appeared as a “friend of the show.”
